-To have two rival schools in the same small town makes for a great and healthy competitive environment that prepares our youth for the real world!
-This competitive environment is not just driven by sports. Both school districts strive to throughout the year preparing for the standardized State of Kentucky exam. This unspoken competition is what drives both schools to achieve higher testing results. This unique situation, along with the strong moral community, allows these schools to perform higher than what they would under a traditional single "city" school program.
-Campbellsville has a school for those who live in the city limits and nearby by subdivisions and a school for those who live in the country. A rough rule, each school has 80-110 students per class. This allows for a less "diluted" school with more personal involvement, responsibility and commitment from both the teachers and the students.
